I’m worried about a friend or family member:

It can be hard to think that someone we care for is living with abuse.

Sadly, the reality is that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men in Northern Ireland will experience abuse at some stage during their adult lifetime, so it is highly likely we will all know at least one person.

There has been so much misunderstanding about domestic and sexual abuse that even though we want to help someone, we are worried about doing or saying the wrong thing.
